Step back for understanding when your paths show resistance.

Step back for understanding when your paths show resistance. This adivarter picked a shell that she could draw pictures on–note that there are no words. The house is distinctively blue (similar to the story she told me about her experience with this advice and a blue house). There are multiple paths and they are all brown. Essentially this adviarter is saying to try your best at everything but know when to move on.

I agree with this shell completely but it has taken me a long time to value the perspective of knowing when there is resistance. Paths that are meant to be open up easily when we have put our best foot forward. Paths that always have resistance usually have resistance for a reason and trying to escape the plans by using force or to outwit the change in plans usually ends up being an exercise in failure.

How can we make sure we are sensing resistance? What can we learn about ourselves and how we handle resistance?
