Connecting advice to art (adviart).

Listen to your heart.

Listen to your heart. This adviarter picked the shell because of its shape. The shape is similar to that of an ear–an ear being necessary to listen–in this case to listen to your heart. The adviarter picked red to align with the idea of a heart. The adviarter sticking to red with the exception of a yellow arrow that goes through the graphical description on the shell. One side of design for this adviarter but a mixed approach with writing and drawing.

This shell is from a bar in Santa Monica. Since there were no shells on the beach, my team resorted to asking bar owners for shells.

This advice is easier said than done but extremely important. Listening to your heart is probably the hardest thing to do–often, lots of outside forces make it impossible to hear the heart, to interpret the heart, let alone listen to the heart. The difference between hearing and listening in my interpretation of this adviart is understanding. We must understand when listening–which differs from merely hearing.

How do you ensure you are listening to your heart?
