Lessons that keep coming are ones you have still not learned– focus on yourself.
Lessons that keep coming are ones you have still not learned– focus on yourself. You can’t help others unless your foundation is strong. The foundation is necessary so you can bloom. This adviarter loves rocks–rocks are her favorite. In building the adviart, she blended two rocks. She also decorated the top rock with different colors once she had built the base. The base was left in a natural state. She used purple because she thought I would like that color for the arrow, blue for the sky, and green for the trees and grass. Notably, there is no writing but the entire rock has been drawn upon.
This adviarter explained the idea that the train has people in front of you and behind you. When looking at opportunities and challenges, it is always important to look front and back–but this isn’t possible without a strong foundation. I keep hearing this same theme over and over again–take care of yourself, be selfish, focus on yourself. It is as if the universe is screaming out and yet I still manage to ignore it from time to time.
How can we change our paradigm to focus on the foundation? Where did selfishness get a negative context in my life? Do you see selfishness as a negative word?
