Connecting advice to art (adviart).

Get outside your comfort zone.

Get outside your comfort zone. This adviarter picked this shell after explaining stories from his perspective on what can happen if we do not get outside of our comfort zone on a consistent basis. He picked the shell and used the contrasting colors of green and orange. Orange is bold and symbolizes new experiences and the growth that can come from them. Green represents comfort. The UVA sabre and a shade of blue coloring for UVA is included highlighting the adviarter’s alma mater.

Noticeable, this adviarter did not stay on the spine of this shell. He also used a mixture of words and drawings to prove his point–almost noting a story-like manner on the shell (which ironically is where the advice comes from).

How do you make sure that you are working towards getting outside your comfort zone? What is the ultimate balance between learning new things and ensure that we are getting better at our core competencies in our current experiences?
