Don’t be afraid of no ghosts.
Don’t be afraid of no ghosts. This adviarter picked the shell because it “felt nice”. The adviarter admitting to a love of touch and tactile sensation when exploring new things. The adviarter gave the advice “don’t be afraid of no ghosts” to tie back to childhood games that we used to play–pretending we were ghostbusters and running around the house in New Jersey killing the ghosts as they got in our way. The advice coming from the Ghostbuster’s movie and a play on the famous quote “I ain’t afraid of no ghosts.” The adviarter picked red and blue and draw circles on the top side of the shell. He then presented it to me to interpret. Needless to say, I’m still interpreting. He also took a marker–we are now down to 23–the question is, can I move forward without the lucky 24? The adviarter only used drawing–no words.
This adviart has stumped me a bit. I can’t tell if I am stuck because I can’t remember such defined details of childhood to solve the puzzle or if I need to revisit watching the movie Ghostbusters…needless to say, it will be hard to forget this shell because of the adviarter’s ability to tie the adviart to childhood and almost leave me curious for meaning and understanding.
The advice of not being afraid of ghosts has many implications in my life as an entrepreneur and as a person. We can’t be afraid of the ghosts in our life of coming–if they do, we have to trust in ourselves to deal with them as they come. The conscious reminder that there are ghosts makes the concept of dealing with them easier. So how do you ensure that the ghosts in your life don’t overtake the future? How do you move forward with confidence each day and get up from failure?
